Update: On Wednesday, December 12, 2012, Judge Gibson has ordered Jerry "Wesley" Pryor Jr. to be held at the Drew County Detention Facility without bond.

The Drew County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call on Sunday, December 9th at approximately 7:50PM, stating that someone had been shot in the Ladelle community, just south of Monticello.

Upon arrival deputies found 53 year old, Charles Hewitt, lying on the floor of his home suffering from a gunshot wound. Hewitt was pronounced dead at the scene.

Information obtained by authorities led to the arrest of Jerry "Wesley" Pryor Jr.  Pryor is being held at the Drew County Detention Facility on charges of capital murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
