On Thursday, August 23^rd, at approximately 11:15 pm, a Drew County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to South Bowser Road after receiving a report of a trucked parked in the middle of the road. When the deputy arrived he found the driver, Cathy Jo Flemister, age 39 of Monticello, passed out in the truck. Flemister was given a field sobriety test which she failed. Deputies also found a small amount of marijuana after performing a search of her truck. She was arrested and transported to the Drew County Detention Facility where she was charged with DWI #2, driving on a suspended license per DWI, possession of a controlled substance #2, no proof of insurance, driving left of center, and no seatbelt. She was able to bond out of jail on a $4,245 bond.
