Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 19 year old Bradley Hall, of Monticello, after he allegedly assaulted his 67 year old grandmother in her home Sunday night, August 5th. According to statements obtained at the scene, Bradley Hall had come home intoxicated and became angry and violent towards his grandmother, throwing items in the house, breaking glass in a screen door and eventually attacking her leaving several cuts and scratched on her hands and face.

The constable for the area, who was the first to respond the call by dispatchers, found Hall in the woods near the home. Hall refused to comply with the constable's order and began fighting with the constable hitting him in his mouth. When Sheriff's deputies arrived, Hall was again located, arrested and transported to the Drew County Detention Facility where he was charged with domestic battery, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, resisting arrest, fleeing, and assaulting an officer.  Hall was taken for a first appearance on Monday, August 6th where he was given a $3,500 bond.
