02/17/2012

The Drew County Sheriff’s Department received a call on February 3 from the Drew Central High School counselor reporting that a 17 year old female student had received threatening text messages from Clifton J (CJ) Jolley, 19 of Monticello. One of the text messages from Jolley stated that he had a gun and was going to shoot anyone that got off the bus with the girl. After receiving information that Jolley had left town, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. Authorities were able to locate Jolley on February 13 and was transported to the Drew County Detention Facility where he was charged with terroristic threatening-first degree. He was taken for a first appearance and was released on a $5,000 bond on February 14th.
