On August 11, Drew County Sheriff’s Department received a report of some missing items from 169 Bowser Road. It was determined that Jamie R. Pierce, age 32 of Monticello, had taken several items from the home to a local pawn shop. Deputies arrested Pierce and he was transported to the Drew County Detention Facility where he was charged with theft. He was taken for a first appearance before Circuit Court Judge Bynum Gibson who released Pierce on his own recognizance.

All items taken by the suspect were recovered from the pawn shops and returned to the owners.
